Disaster Prevention and Reduction Meteorological Observation System Built by Longhua District Emergency Management Bureau in Shenzhen

Provide 50 sets of 6-element community automatic stations, 20 sets of high-rise building 6-element automatic stations (with 4 gradients of 50 meters, 100 meters, 150 meters, and 200 meters), and 5 sets of 6-element intelligent pole meteorological stations (including high-definition display screens, lighting, and cameras) to continuously monitor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, air pressure, and rainfall in real time, achieving the goal of full coverage of meteorological monitoring equipment within 2 kilometers, meteorological disaster risk hidden points, and densely populated areas. Benefiting from this, the blank areas of meteorological monitoring information in Longhua District have significantly decreased, and the spatial and temporal density of monitoring various meteorological elements has significantly increased, far higher than the average level of Shenzhen and other regions. This has effectively enhanced the meteorological disaster prevention and reduction capabilities of Longhua District and helped it build a "Longhua model" for meteorological disaster prevention and reduction.

The seven element automatic meteorological station, 25 element urban climate station, benchmark radiation observation station, laser wind radar, weather reality video and other meteorological observation equipment implement temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, air pressure, rainfall, visibility, soil temperature, soil moisture, soil heat flux, road surface temperature, longwave radiation, shortwave radiation, total radiation, direct radiation, reflected radiation, scattered radiation, vertical wind, weather reality and other element observations in accordance with international and domestic norms, establish a multi element, three-dimensional, visual meteorological observation system from the ground to the sky, and provide continuous and stable data support for weather warning and forecasting services and government emergency decision-making services.
